Last time I blogged about chatting with book authors, I promised to post an update on the upcoming DirectX chat. For this one, I give you not one, not two but three book authors on a DirectX Chat. This time we are bringing you our Direct X mavericks , Tom Miller (Author of many books, including the upcoming Writing a game using Managed DirectX) , Alexandre Lobao (the author of Beginning .NET Game Programming in VB.NET) , David Weller (the author of Beginning .NET Game Programming in C#, and Microsoft ......

Do you HALO 2?
I just caught some news regarding 'teenage violence and games”. Since I played HALO 2 often during the past week I was surprised to see that HALO 2 is ranked #4 on the top 10 list of ‘most violent games’ on the market, according to some study I haven’t caught the name of. The Rebel Billionaire got my full attention. I just wonder how do you make it to one of those shows, if you have the link, please enlighten me. All the other shows are so-so, and I wouldn’t want to be on the bachelor, the bachelorette, the apprentice, definitely not on the fear factor (when they ......

Terrarium Competition in Canada + sample code and instructions
I guess my first blog here will be about the terrarium competition we are running in Canada. This seem to be the best place to pick up the slack, as that is the last thing I blogged about at theSpoke (www.theSpoke.net). So what is Terrarium? Terrarium is a multiplayer ecosystem game developed using the .NET Framework. Developers can create their own creatures and add them into the game on their own client machine. The creatures get teleported between clients in the Terrarium peer-to-peer network. ......
