Traveling back from my university in the local coach and not in metro as I usually do the other night I stumbled upon a young girl. She was probably 10, what I can’t help mentioning about her is that she was young innocent and terribly poor, she had five other siblings all girls and mother sitting opposite to her in the bus and the way she was talking care of two of her siblings and the love and compassion she was sharing with them as they slept peacefully on the either side with heads on her arms. When the time came for them to get off she did not wake the youngest of her sisters and managed to pick her up and leave the bus as I stood there wondering about her shiny face and responsibility on her little shoulders. I was deeply touched and went onto a shallow mood.
Well I came back home, felt tired but then called up my friend Ali and we went for dinner (some thing I do to cheer my self up), we loved the soup and steak more then usuaul at our favorite diner and then moved to the other side of Karachi to get a heavenly shake on 9th Street, Phase 7, DHA where my other friend Nuaman lives at a stone’s throw. I got some shake for him too and went to see him he was a little busy but I don’t blame him for that, I came back happy again, thanking GOD for all that he has given us and all his blessings that he has blessed us with.
