What a great idea from the Microsoft Evangalist Community!

The primary purpose was "reward the UG membership", those members that have been attending month after month, helping each other, learning, geeking etc.  This goal was DEFINITELY met.  THANKS to Andrew Duthie, midAtlantic DE for setting up the event.  An event such as this gives the RV.NUG officers a chance to let the membership know how much you really do behind the scenes for us month after month (year after year).  So sorry you got beat in Guitar Hero by Brian (who had never played before the Install Fest)

The InstallFest had supplemental benefits as well.  Through promotion of the event we have new members (they've already paid dues!) and reached new companies with .NET developers in the area.  The timing of the event also gave us a great opportunity to announce our second Code Camp.

Kudos to the RV.NUG for once again showing western Virginia is a technology savy region.  Attendance to registration ratio was 94% !!!!!!
