WSS 3 Migration - Groups: Owners, Members, Visitors
When creating a new Site Collection in WSS 3.0 you will get the following groups by default (assuming the name of Site Collection is Geekette) Geekette Members - contribute permissions Geekette Owners - full control permissions Geekette Visitors - read permissions When you migrate a site from V2 to V3, these groups will not be created. RV.NUG InstallFest - Visual Studio 2008
What a great idea from the Microsoft Evangalist Community! The primary purpose was "reward the UG membership", those members that have been attending month after month, helping each other, learning, geeking etc. This goal was DEFINITELY met. Roanoke Code Camp 2008 - Call for Speakers
The second Roanoke Code Camp (in western Virginia) is being held on SATURDAY, MARCH 1 at Virginia Western Community College. This is the same location as last year and if you were there, you know it’s a great venue. We will have several classrooms plus the auditorium available for our event.
