Word 2007 - Mouse Not Responding - Part 2

Turns out my problem was due to LaserFiche.  Running LaserFiche 7.2 the "Send to Word" functionality was preventing the mouse from responding within a Word document.  Funny thing, it had happened in previous versions of Word also.

If you are a LaserFiche user you need to apply HotFix SCR28596, Knowledge Article 1011746.

Refer to Part 1 on July 30, 2007.

In my case it was Lenovo password manager witch made word misbehave. Word worked when I started it as administrator. I tried to end service by service and when I stopped PW manager word and mouse worked as it should. I tried everything before I discovered the reason. (Lenovo SL 300, 250GB SSD, Win 7 pro)

Also had the same case. Tried all the fixes above and still wouldn't work. The moment I hit the Enter key in Word, mouse wont work in the document area anymore. This worked for me: in case you are using Lenovo's Client Security - Password Manager, disable/exit this program. After exiting Password Manager, mouse worked properly again.
