Today I decided to upgrade from Office 2003 to Office 2007 (using my MSDN subscription). I used the DVD, signed onto the MSDN Web site, requested a Product Key and was off. Except... I had an invalid product key.
I had just renewed my subscription at the beginning of the month, so I wasn't sure what to try next.
I tried the MSDN Online Concierge. Fully expecting to not get an answer, I entered my question. Error message: "Please enter a subject or question in English." GREAT - I was typing in English. I tried again. Same error. Okay, I am from WV but surely my grammar was not that bad!
I decided to try with a subject instead. "Product Key".
I was connected and a chat window opened.
It was a pleasant and helpful experience. The replies came within a minute. I had a resolution within 5 minutes.
