IM without a client

If you stay in touch via IM and find yourself in an environment without your IM client software of choice, such as

environment that forbids installation of IM client software
workstation with public access without your IM client of choice

Check out Meebo. Meebo provides web access to AIM, Yahoo Messenger, GoogleTalk and MSN.
