Hard to believe that last fall I was considering giving up on being a UG leader. I sure am glad I didn't (our
founder checks in often to make sure I don't quite). Since the VS 2005 / SQL Server 2005 Launch we keep growing and growing and ........
The May meeting of RV.NUG was no exception. Sahil Malik (brought to us by INETA) presented on Transactions. He discussed System.Transaction namespace and distributed transactions. We have a small and diverse UG, and everyone got something from it. Everyone was trying to stop me as they left "You've really hit a home run getting this speaker" and similar comments.
Sahil was able to provide valuable information to both the introductory crowd and the super geek crowd. He fielded A LOT of questions. Many times the attendee would continue to ask more questions and Sahil continued until an understanding was reached.
