Need something besides yahoo games to waste time?.....

Try http://www.websudoku.com/

Thanks to fellow blogger Chris (http://www.geekswithblogs.com/cwilliams)  I now have a new way to be on the laptop and not work.   I thought the “How Am I Doing?” help was showing me ALL that I had wrong.  It wasn't until the last square that I realized it was showing me SOME of what I did wrong.  I had to toss that game.  See, I'm nicer than him, I'm sharing this tidbit with everyone (he just laughed at me when I found it)

BTW.. you can change the options to show you all that is wrong.  This is way more fun than doing it on paper!

I need a ticket for the Studio 2005 Launch in DC

If you have registered for the DC Launch and are going to be unable to attend, I could use your help.

Our local .NET User group is holding a Community Launch of Visual Studio 2005 / SQL 2005 on February 7th (http://www.rvnug.org).

I need help regarding something with the Community Launch being held inRoanoke, VA on February 7th.  This event has generated the most excitement and membership participation in our INETA .NET User Group in over a year, maybe ever.  I started with a team of 4 and now have a team of 8 working on this event.  We have 3 presenters, 3 backup technical advisors, a marketing person and an event administrator.  The nearest
launch to ours is over 3 hours away.

What I need is one more seat to the Microsoft Launch event in DC on January 11th.  All of my presenters have booked hotel rooms and we are car pooling (all on our own expense, not our company expense) and have vacation scheduled.  The problem is, due to the Microsoft site not getting through one of the presenter's firewall at work - he missed registering in time - It was full before the end of November. Our event is scheduled to follow soon after the DC launch, and our presenters are planning to attend to polish up their knowledge of the material before presenting.

So please, please.. if any of you know of a way I can get an additional seat ticket to this event, please let me know.

BTW... registration for this event will open on Jan 1st, so check our website (http://www.rvnug.org) after that date if you would like to attend.  Registration will be limited.
