WPF/E and web designers?

Sunday, January 28, 2007 6:17 PM

I know a lot of friends who are web designers or "Flash Gods" in ActionScript when it comes to designing websites. I learned that only a hand-full of them (some through heated conversations) know C# and a few just barely touched WPF/E. My question is - Will WPF/E force web designers to become web developers? Or - Will web developers using WPF/E give web designers a run for their money? What do you think?

As far as I've understood, there is a tool that's been created for web designer.
http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/en/Expression-Design/default.mspx

What Microsoft is expecting (at least the way I see), is, the web developers and the designers can work on same project (.csproj or .vbproj) using different tools. I don't think the designers would need to become developers.

See, the developers may not know how to show certain controls certain way. They may just know about their events or what need to happen when you click on button but may not know how button should look.
