Today, the presentation of LSI 6 went rather very well. The principal of Kin Dah Lachii Community School has accepted LSI 6 for use in their systems. A school board meeting will be held on June 6, 2005 for the full acceptance and further explamations of LSI 6. I am proud to say that after a year long hard work is finally paying off.
The project is based on Linder's System Intranet 6 (LSI) model, which is also in development this year, written in the currently new ASP.NET 2.0 Beta2 framework. The target location will be hosted on the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)’s education network. There will be only one donation to a school to test and continue completion of the project which the Kin Dah Lachii Community School is scheduled for the LSI 6 presentation. Add-on features will be developed once the project has been completed. More details will be posted once the project is on BIA’s education network.
Linder's System Intranet 6 (LSI 6) is one of many Linder & Company's School Web Development Projects written in the currently new ASP.NET 2.0 Beta 2 framework. It targets educational agencies like the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), public, community, and private schools for use of today's web technologies. The goals of LSI 6 is to increase all communication levels for the school, improve student education from school or home, access LSI 6's features & services from any location such as filesharing, emails, message boards, help & support sections, etc. LSI 6 will also maintain student grades & stats, increase teacher productivity, manage financial requirements for the school, and much more.
