ASP.NET Builds on various features such as Dynamic Data, MVC, Astora, AJAX & Futures are available at CodePlex http://codeplex.com/aspnet
ASP.NET 4.0 Roadmap provided insight into the features considered for the upcoming version. To name a few
i. jQuery support built-in to Visual Studio
ii. MVC Built-in
iii. Enhancements to Webforms
iv. New deployment features (Visual Studio)
v. Dynamic Data for Business Objects
