Google opened its URL-shortener Goo.gl to public. This will allow you to create the short form of any URL. It not only creates the URL but also maintain the analytics and shere the analytics to public. Google says it is also using special provisions to prevent blind links from leading to malware or dangerous websites
Hope this will create big revolution in the web address shortening arena.

Today.. ASP.NET MVC Version 2.0 preview one is release. There are many new features introduced as part of this..
you can download this from Here
Support of areas, strong typed UI Helpers, Data Annotation validation are couple of them and many more features are there. To know more about the new features of this, look at scottgu's blog here. In this post you can also download the example application...
This Version of MVC works with .NET 3.5 SP1 and VS 2008, and can be installed side-by-side on the same machine as ASP.NET MVC 1.0 (meaning they don’t conflict and your existing ASP.NET MVC 1.0 projects will not be impacted if you install it).

It is interesting to hear about a new competitors in the space of lightweight operating system for browsing internet. By the hype created by the media, most of the people in the world already heard about Google Crome OS. But many people don’t know about the other competitors in the same space.
Many people might not know about the Microsoft project called “Gazelle”. Like Chrome OS, which is built on top of Linux, Gazelle isn’t really a new operating system. Rather it is a layer that extends the browser’s security model down into the operating system level. Key to system is the idea of a “principal”, which in this case is the triple of protocol, domain-name, and port. Each combination is isolated from any other combination at the process level. Read this to know more about Gazelle.
In the similar why, HyperSpace is another browsing environment. This was created by phoenix technologies, who’s bios is preinstalled in many Pcs. Read this article to know more.
