It was my first ever 3D movie experience. We (me and my friends) went for T-REX: Back to the Cretaceous @ IMAX, Pacific Mall, Kushambi(NCR), India. First of all it was an awesome experience as you are not just watching the movie but it feels like you are a part of it!

The beauty of the 3D is that you try to touch thinks which comes in front, move your head in either direction and do some stupid thinks, and that what makes it an unforgetable experience!

Let me give you some brief about the movie in short, so here it goes.....

" 16 year old Ally Hayden is about to go on a remarkable pre-historic adventure!
When Ally, the daughter of Paleontologist
Dr. Donald Hayden accidently disturbs a very special fossil egg, she is magically transported back 65 million years to the Cretaceous Period!
During her adventure, Ally witnesses giant flying reptiles like the
Pteranodon with 20-foot wingspans soaring and swooping over a lush forest filled with strange plants and trees...She sees Hadrosaurs as big as elephants and hears the footsteps of other mammoth reptiles rumbling through the mist-shrouded valley...
From her wanderings in the corridor of a natural history museum to her journey through history itself, Ally encounters a fascinating cast of characters, including dinosaur artist,
Charles Knight and Barnum Brown, the renowned dinosaur bone hunter.
Her journey ends in a frightening yet wondrous face to face encounter with a 20-foot tall, 15-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex - rendered in incredible detail on the giant IMAX® screen! "

I saw this film awhile back. Nice effects, but kinda cheesy story line. I used to volunteer at the museum that's featured in the film. It's a place up in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada called the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology. Absolutely great research going on there in the back room, and out on the local digs. Quite an interesting place.
