Grr--Junk Science

It's the dose that makes the poison.  Read an article today that should have never been published.  You can read it here.  Basically, the associated press is trying to scare people into thinking that they shouldn't drink water because there were pharmaceuticals found in the drinking water.

At no point do they say what the concentration (parts per million is the currently accepted standard) of those chemicals are.  Arsenic is one of the most deadly poisons for human beings known, and many drinking water sources have a small concentration of it!  The human body is great at filtering out bad stuff; that's why we have kidney's and a liver.  Even water is poisonous in a high enough dose.

Grr--I hate bad reporting.
