We're all hosed

Mitt Romney bailed today, leaving only liberals running for president. So here's a question for those of you who dislike the two party system: How does a one party system sound? The republican party is no longer a party of conservatives.

One bright note, everyone loves a train wreck and this ought to be one of epic proportions. I think we've just ensured that our next president will either be Clinton or Obama. I'm placing bets that Obama will win. Here's to higher taxes and less freedom (even if McCain wins)!

You could live in Canada with a 3 (or so) party system that often results in a minority government where nobody has enough power to accomplish anything :)

Ha...I read this on the main board, but I see that Aaron totally beat me to the comment.

I honestly don't know why you're bummed about Romney bailing though...I mean, McCain is the *obvious* favorite, as he has had the BEST SNL hosting episode out of all the candidates (Hilary never hosted, and Obama showed up for that one skit...which counts for something, but not much).

Plus you'll get the benefit of having a president who's name is synonymous with frozen chocolate cake and french fries.
