My wife had a new baby yesterday and the baby is healthy and happy and both are doing well. The rooms were nices and the care was adequate (bad for the mom, really good for the baby). Now, if the government ran the hospitals (i.e. socialized medicine) how would it have been different? We can see EXACTLY what government healthcare would be like.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of socialized medicine. I lived in Europe for a couple of years, and it doesn't matter what government is running the program, care goes down the toilet. Before you rant on the "Bush" government, you'll have to convince me that any government would be better. I'm a conservative, not a Republican, and I didn't vote for Bush either. :)
