I am only a preteen but my mom had cancer when I was about 8 or so and it really really just made my mind think...Who's next...me? Well I really enjoyed your comment and it made me feel amazing that you think as I do.

this song makes me cry every time i hear it because my girl friend had cancer when she was young and we went to prom a few weeks ago and she kept saying that she couldnt belive that she was her because of her cancer and every time i hear this song it makes me think of her

I love this song. It always makes me think about life and the first time i listened to this i cryed. See i have a blood disorder and I hope that it never gets worse and that I dont have to be worried all the time.

My mom had cancer when I was 11 so This song is really sad and makes me wanna cry because it could be me in a few years.

My daughter played 3 sports in high school and a little girl in our town looked up to her and always
came to her events and became friends with her. When the little girl was diagnosed with cancer she told my daughter that she was scared that she would lose her hair and everyone would laugh at her.
So my daughter said that no one would laugh at her and that when the girls hair started falling out, my daughter would shave her head for her. Well a few weeks later it started happening so my daughter went to her house and they both shaved their heads. It was very emotional for us and very heart warming that she would even consider doing such a thing on her own.
Well, like in the song, shortly after that, my daughter had a prom coming up. But her boyfriend made it clear that she had offended him by shaving her head and he couldn't take her to the prom like that. Sooooooooo a good friend of hers came to the rescue and took her to the prom and she was absolutely beautiful and they had a wonderful time.
A few years later, my daughter passed away from leukemia, which makes this song a very very special song for us and brings a tear every time I hear it.

My daughter, Sarah, just passed away with AML Leukemia and this song really hit home it bring tears to my eyes and I can't believe how relatable it is, because she before she was diagnosed that she had cancer and that she would probably not survive. We battled this for 16 months and prayer and hope and a positive attitude got us through. We know she is in a better place, with no pain or suffering, but we miss her dearly, and this song brings us much. Thank you and God Bless
