I'm on the skytrain this morning fully awake and on my way to work. This is a change because lately I'm still half asleep until I actually get to my desk. I guess it has something to do with the darkness.
So I'm reading Enterprise Integration Solutions by Mark Speaker and Devin Spackman and I'm really engrossed by it and grokking the concepts quite well. I'm totally into it and I also have my headphones on so I'm not really listening to the names of the stations.
Well, the doors close after yet another stop and suddenly I realize the train is underground. Wait a sec, I'm supposed to get off BEFORE the train goes underground. Crap. So I decided to walk all the way to work instead of taking the train back and then walking to work. It was a pleasant early morning stroll and when life gives you a missed station, you make station-ade. Or something like that.
Really good book though.
