As I wrote about before, the October meeting of the .NET BC group was last night and it was really great.
The presenter was Joel Semeniuk and he was discussing .NET architecture solutions in general. The second half of the talk was based on real world case studies of some projects. It's actually kind of amazing how some of the greatest influences to the architecture of a system are things like politics and executive level buy in. Very eye opening at times.
I also got to meet local Regional Director Richard Campbell of .NET Rocks! and Mondays fame. Oh and Richard, you're right, I just finished listening to Episode 36 and it was some of Mark Miller's best stuff.
