Update: Fixed bad punctuation. Sorry about that.

We went to see Fantastic Four this weekend and it was awesome. Just like the Spiderman and X-Men movies as well as The Incredibles, this was what a super hero movie should be.

It has just the right amount of character development without slowing down too much but not so much ludicrous CGI action as to be beyond belief. The first Spiderman movie almost lost me there.

I also forgot to mention Batman Begins. It was good but a little slow at times, overall a well done movie though. Oh, and here's a review from J.D. about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That one should be good too...

...Of course, any movie with Jessica Alba is Oscar material.

Yes, well she played a fairly good Sue Storm.

...Oh, was that her name in the movie? I was mostly thinking about her underwear scenes.

It was a superhero movie, but I thought The Incredibles demonstrated much more wit than The Fantastic Four....

Yeah, I totally agree with that. The Incredibles was by far the better superhero movie. Just the fact that you don't have a pre-conceived notion as to what the heroes and villains should be like makes the movie easier to enjoy.

Add to that the freedom to do virtually anything, since it's all in the computer anyways, and it was an awesome movie.
