Erika and I went to the Vancouver Blogger meetup last night at Steamworks. It was fun, we met a whole group of new people this time around. Travis was taking charge of things early on and doing a good job.

We had some interesting conversations all around and it was nice to meet Pete, Jack, Kirk, Naomi, and to finally meet Darren. I think I probably missed a name or two in there, if I left you out please let me know.

We also got to chat with Matt again for a while and hear more cat stories and learned about the Richmond Night Market. Caution, seizure inducing Flash site ahead... We'll have to check it out... map.

Finally, Travis is looking for an all night greasy spoon kind of breakfast place. We, on the other hand, are looking for non-greasy somewhat healthy breakfast places. Any suggestions for either of us?

I'll recommend Sophie's Cosmic Cafe on 4th, which fulfills both your requirements, as well as Joe's Grill a few doors down from Sophie's. Neither is open all night, but Calhoun's on Broadway is, and they have both greasy and healthy stuff. I know a few of their employees and they're super-nice. The food is also great at Calhoun's.

Thanks for the info Nome. We'll be checking out your suggestions in the coming weeks and I'll post reviews.
