Update: I forgot to mention Darren's post as well. Journalism 101, always cite your sources. Sorry about that Darren.

So first we had the Kryptonite problem where the locks were shown to vulnerable using nothing more than a Bic pen. Now, courtesy of Steve Rubel and Robert Scoble comes another video which demonstrates an issue with the Kensington locks which are used to secure laptops. You can open them using a piece of a toilet paper roll and a little duct tape. In under two minutes.

Scoble says that it looks like Kensington didn't learn anything from the Kryptonite incident. I'd wager that many companies never even knew it happened or knew about the Kryptonite meme going around. So we can be sure that this will happen time and time again. Good thing we here on teh internets are listening to people like Robert and Steve.
