Update: I rearranged some of the text due to poor grammar. Bad grammar. Bad! No treats for you!

Tom Peters published his 2004 MVP list. The entry that jumped out to me most was this:

MVP/Winning "Experience." The opened envelope reveals the winner as Maxine Clark's Build-A-Bear. The company, which just successfully went public, provides scintillating experiences for kids by the tens of thousands. Maxine's Build-A-Bear Website is also a/the Top Pick in my book (or, rather, Blog).

It doesn't really surprise me since Build-A-Bear is one of our clients and I only see great things from this company. The people who work there are great, they have awesome attitudes and really do their research before reporting technical issues back to us. From what I have seen I only imagine that the same attitude permeates the whole company, which is how they deliver a great “shopping“ experience to the customer.

Notice I put shopping in quotes because they really have transformed the traditional shopping process into an experience. A nomination very well deserved.
