Thanks to J.D. I took a little trip down memory lane today. Although he wrote this a year ago, it's still good reading.

It's all about discovering U2's music back in the 80's. I had a very similar experience with U2 in 1985. The first time someone asked me if I like U2 was the first day at a new school. I mistakenly thought that they were asking about UB40, and I said sure, they were cool, after all "Red Red Wine" was a good song.

Of course, my interest in the band was revitalised in the past few years since my fianceé is a big fan, so I've been listening to them (and watching concerts) more than ever.

Thanks to J.D. for the story and for the cool link to interference.com which has lots of up to date U2 information.
