Yesterday on my drive home from work I was listening to NPR. Kerry was giving a speech before some college crowd and was busily comparing todays situation in Iraq with the
Vietnam war in the 1960's. Now I'm not a huge supporter of the war or even Bush but I do find it offensive for people to be saying that the troops are wasting their time and failed. I'm not sure what it is we are trying to do. But I'll save that little rant for another day. What I noticed in his speech was him acting like he was of this generation. It's
his generation that is fighting this war; the same ones that lived and fought in Vietnam. So I would suggest to him that he not assume we don't know who fought where and who's war this is.
