Watch Those Lazy XPath Queries
I notice often developers don't pay much attention to the XPath queries they use. And then some complaining about XML performance. Of course, XML means overhead but we're here not to make it worse. For example, such convenient descendant-or-self axis specifier (AKA “//”) can be frequently abused without realizing how much harm it can bring to high volume XML processing applicaitons. Signed Off for Solo Flight
I passed pre-solo check ride with Assistant Chief Flight Instructor yesterday. I had to show everything I've learned so far starting from preflight to take-off, climbs, descents, power-on/off stalls, steep turns, instrument flying under the hood, emergency procedures, radio communication, basic navigation, and landings. I passed new Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) exam 70-235: Developing Business Process and Integration Solutions using Microsoft® BizTalk® Server 2006. Making The Dream of Flying Come True
I've been off radar for a while for several reasons. First, I took vacation in the beginning of June and spent wonderful family time in Cocoa Beach, Florida visiting many places in and around Orlando and Space Coast including Kennedy Space Center and multiple theme parks.
