Ohio State "My Colors" Theme From Stardock

I was happy to see that Stardock was using it's skinning expertise to provide themes for it's Object Desktop suite of programs. After all, their skins are arguably the best. I have looked high and low for a good Ohio State theme and to be honest, none have blown me away. So when I saw Stardock Design debut the My Colors line I was excited. I was less excited to see them select the morons from TSUN as their first skin, but I suppose some people can be bought. Then they added insult to injury and completed the Florida Gators theme as well. Their sales department had no comment on if or when any OSU theme would come to life. As I browsed the latest email blurb from them on their excellent Object Dock Plus, I noticed an announcement on the Ohio State theme. Hoo-ray!

Technorati tags: Ohio State, Object Desktop, Stardock, Buckeyes, Desktop Theme, TSUN

Disclaimer: I am a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Everyone in the country who loves college football is talking about this and yet, I feel compelled to put my two cents in. It is most likely due to this being the day before Thanksgiving - who wants to actually work? I wont recount every argument I have heard on ESPN, ESPN Radio and in the press. There is a good summary of all the salient points here.

Plus, I really agree with his reasons for not having the rematch. If the unthinkable happened and OSU loses in the desert, who is the number one team? Your chocolate is in my peanut butter! No, your peanut butter is on my chocolate! I also agree with ESPN Radio's Mike Golic: it may be the right game, but it wont be the best game. USC or Florida would deliver the best game.

Hey Michigan: Congratulations on the Rose Bowl!

I saw this commercial about a year ago and have been looking for it ever since online. You would think ESPN, who makes the best sports fan commercials would have all these in one place online, but no.
O-H-I-O Buckeyes Romp on Texas

Although my prediction last year could be seen as a jinx, I am going to go out and predict, again, that the Buckeyes will tear Texas a new two-step. The team looks impressive and the offense is absolutely loaded with stallions. Of course, one game isn't a tell-all, but things looked good. I was a bit disappointed that as many mentioned, after scoring 28 points in the 1st quarter, the Bucks seems to go on cruise control. I have been longing to see the bucks throw up a 65-12 score on someone like all the other top teams do. Especially in a Heisman year like this one for both Smith and Ginn Jr.

And I don't feel guilty at all for smiling with glee when I read that the starting Texas cornerback, and a senior no less will be suspended from the game for being arrested on a weapons and drug charge (let the excuses begin come a Buckeyes win). I know they are innocent until proven guilty, but really, why would you even put yourself with ten miles of the situation on the eve of the most important game of the season? What were you thinking? Go back to last year's game with Texas and we can relate all too well as Troy came in rusty from his own suspension.

Texas also moved up the polls to the number two slot adding another dynamic to the confrontation that has not been seen in quite some time. Hopefully whoever wins will go on to run the table and appear in the national championship game in January.
