I am both honoured and humbled to announce (especially since I don't think it will be announced anywhere else) that I have been named the Microsoft Heartland District Demo Champion. The HLD (Heartland District) SMS&P team recently held a competition where partners were invited to do a technical demo on a Microsoft technology at that quarters “Tech Night Live.” Each city in the region could have up to three partners demo, for a total of 18 demos overall. Each city would have a local winner and then from all the local winners, a regional champion would be crowned. More details can be found here if you are interested in the contest specifics.
My demo was on Real Time Collaboration Using Microsoft’s Live Communications Server 2005 SP1 and Office Communicator. I have been awarded a trip to the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Launch in San Francisco on November 7th. I am very excited to be going. I also have to give a lot of thanks to fellow consultant Chris Beasley and my manager Cliff Rittel who helped me prep, gave me great advice and listened to my endless rehearsals.
The Microsoft Gold Certified Partner I work for is Berbee Information Networks. I am a consultant in the Microsoft Practice. I specialize in advanced infrastructure, messaging and collaboration and information worker solutions. Information about Berbee can be found here.
