That’s How I Roll
I wanted to write a blog post to document how I do some day-to-day things. It helps me to keep track of my work habits, refine them and perhaps help some others who are looking for some solutions. My current rig is a Apple MacBook Pro 13” unibody. It has the 250Gb drive with 4Gb memory. I am running the latest version of OS X Leopard. I am really enjoying the 13” form factor. It is a little smaller and lighter than the previous 15” unibody which, to me, just felt heavy. I also don't notice the lost...

Designing Exchange 2010
As I contemplate the design that was going to be an organizational upgrade to Exchange 2007 – I am now shifting gears towards skipping to an upgrade of Exchange 2010. Still Searching for a Good Mac OS X Blog Editor
I am writing this post using the ScribeFire Firefox plug-in. I am still on the lookout for a blog editor that come close to all the features and ease of use found in Microsoft's LiveWriter - but runs on Mac OS X. I have found some close ones -- MarsEdit and X -- but their big achilles heel is that they don't recognize SharePoint blogs running on MOSS 2007 (sp1 or otherwise). Natch Microsoft would build support in to its tool - no one else does though. And I will be damned if I can find a way to manually...

Google Pack Beta
Is anything you download from Google not labeled BETA? Well, I guess the search engine isn't! Anyhoo, they now have the Google Pack. A collection of various Google and other third party offerings designed to <marketing on> help your computer run better and provide much needed services such as photo editing and organization, search, directions, screensaver, anti virus, etc. They also include the Google Updater to automatically check for updates on all the included packages. Really, when is the...
