I have a development laptop and i have vista ultimate installed. So i decided to put all my neccesary day to day development tools like vs.net 2005, sql server etc..
But i get error   message :- Unable to open the Web 'http://localhost/project name'. The Web server does not appear to have the FrontPage server extensions installed.
when trying to create a new website project and i said to myself another microsft OS "VISTA".

So next thing to do looked for a solution and i found :this . After i started reading it i remembered i had the same issue when configuring Reporting Services 2005 on my vista machine nothing won't work and users had to be a member of admin..
So i closed the VS.NET 2005 IDE and now right clicked on the VS.NET link and "run as Administrator".
And now i could create a site using http:// without that ugly error bingo

This could save some other developers precious time.
