I like that Office 2003 saves files in an XML format and that Office 12 is supposed to have even better support for this. My question is... why not have it automatically compress the saved xml data? Everyone knows XML = bloated file size. I just took an Excel XML spreadsheet that was 45k and zipped it to ~5k.
