The VB6 IDE Verses the MouseWheel

I have to do my EDR work in VB6, and I was getting very irate with not having my MouseWheel.  Rob Chartier posted a timely reminder that there was a fix for that deficiency.  I have repaved my machines so many times since we started the EDR back in 1997 with VB5 that I forgot which add-ins I had used over the years.

Now why did I not think of using Google to find "Mouse wheel events do not work in the Visual Basic 6.0 IDE"?

I remember when this started popping up. It began with Windows 2000 and took a heck of a long time to discover what the problem was. I now keep a copy of the proper driver fix handy on my client's server for the occasional box that is still on win2000.

I had to implement this add-in fix on my XPSP2 box. I was surprised when the whell did not work. Right now, I am glad I have it back.
