The 2005 hurricane season is now underway and will run through the end of November. We probably should not expect much action until July or August, but you never know. Here are a bunch of links to everything hurricane. As I find more of interest, I'll add them here as well as in later entries.
NOAA
FEMA
Weather Underground
NWS Doppler Radars
The following links are to all the National Weather Service coastal radar sites from Brownsville to Boston as well as Puerto Rico and the national mosaic. Each individual radar has a short and long range display, as well as a static and looping mode. These links should cover any tropical storm or hurricane approaching the continental US. I am always using the Tampa Bay Area and Melbourne radars to track the thunderstorms as they roll across the state on an almost daily basis.
