I reported this problem for a while. Today my SQL Analyzer hung and when I submitted the data to them, it informed me that the fix is available. It's pretty impressive.

An update is available that fixes the problem you reported. The update has not been thoroughly tested so, you should only request the update if you consider the problem to be critical. To obtain the update call Microsoft Product Support Services. When contacting Microsoft Product Support Services, reference Microsoft Knowledge Base article 830767.
If the problem is not critical, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the fix to be included in the next service pack for Microsoft SQL Server Query Analyzer, which receives additional testing.
