Microsoft just released SQL 2005 CTP December to beta.microsoft.com. It should fix many problems that you guys had previously with CTP October.
Also it is worth to mention that SQL Express is updated as well. First, December CTP release of SQL Express is available now and Microsoft SQL Express Manager which provides a simple SQL editor functionality is available as well.(Only 1MB download which required .NET framework 2.0).
