UK psychologists think Bloggers are the Unhealthiest People according to an article at NewScientist.com

This is a sentence from the article:
-----
"We expected diary keepers to have some benefit, or be the same, but they were the worst off," says Elaine Duncan of the Glasgow Caledonian University. "In fact, you're probably much better off if you don't write anything at all," she adds.

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. It's a no-brainer that if you keep all your feelings cooped up inside, it causes stress & tension, which leads to other physical, emotional, and mental issues. DUH!

Maybe the connection should really be that people who are generally "sickly" (chronic illness, physical challenges, etc.) are ABLE to easily access the internet, so this is an outlet for those who may not normally be able to get out and do other things. The internet has opened up so many doors for this type of person that they never had available 10 years ago...and blogging is a way they can "give back" to the internet community and get involved with other people.

My 2 cents.
