By now you have seen the news about Disney buying Pixar, and how Steve Jobs will become the single largest shareholder at Disney. Charles Cooper at CNet poses the question: How long before Jobs is Disney's new boss?:
As long as Disney's earnings-per-share continue to climb, there's no pressing reason for Jobs to enter the picture. But we're talking about a legendary entrepreneur with a unique understanding of both the computer and entertainment industries.
I think at this point (and I am such the industry insider! :) ) that Jobs is going to stay focused on Apple for the time being. Apple seems to really be taking over the consumer market, plus it is his original company. I just don't see the draw for him to become CEO of Disney, unless it's purely just for the power of it.
