At Tech Ed this year, the presenter at one of the Windows Presentation Foundation talks was raving about the new Consolas ClearType font was was recently developed for Visual Studio 2005.  I have downloaded it and I must say it is the best fixed width developer font I have ever seen.  Here is an example screen shot (although my screen shot really does not do it justice):

You have to make sure that your system has ClearType is turned on.  The first question (”How do I turn it on?”) at this link will show you how:

I just installed it, and I love it. Thanks for the info.

Also, and a little off subject... but where did you get that theme (the title bar looks different)?

It's just the standard XP theme (which I had to manually install since my OS is Windows Server 2K3)

Oops - sorry, I installed the Royale Theme. I must say it is pretty cool too. It's a free download. I can't remember the exact link where I got it but should be easy to find:
