VS2005 Problem!!

If anyone has any ideas about this, I'd appreciate it.

Using VS2005 Beta 2, I create a new website (tried file based and http).  I can add webforms but when I try to add either a Master Page or a class, I get a message box that says, “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”.  In the case of the Master Page, I can get it t add if I uncheck “code in separate file”, but the class gives the error in any case.  I have uninstalled an reinstalled several times and am about to do a reinstall of everything (XP too).

This is driving me crazy - someone throw mw a friggin' bone here!

Great group talk!

The Philly talk went great - I love introducing people to the world of custom webcontrol development.  Got over 100 people to show up; many were repeats from my talk at CodeCamp.  Part 1 of my WebControl article will be in next month's issue of CoDe Magazine so check it out. I'm gonna start putting a couple of nw talks together for next year with more VS2005 stuff.  I've been tryingto keep my user group talks to technology and techniques that developers can leave and use right away to solve their problems.  My next talk is Aug. 23rd in New London, CT, then Sep. 1st in Stamford, CT, then Nov. 13 in DC.  Oh, and I'll also be at the PDC and the MVP Summit.  Thank you to everyone that comes out to see me!

Philly, here I come

On my way down now to do a WebControl talk at the Philly Users Group - 101 people registered - wow!  http://www.phillydotnet.org/

Will blog on it tomorrow - any groups in NY, NJ, PA, or CT that would like this talk, let me know.
