Processes in BizTalk RFID
I recently had the good fortune to attend a free Microsoft event on BizTalk Server RFID. I’ve had a little play with BizTalk Server RFID in the past but one thing I hadn’t realised was that when you create a process it actually creates a WCF service and publishes it to IIS. RFID Admin IIS Manager Note the hosting.svc file and the process.svc files. Over the next few days I hope to have a closer look at these and see what they expose and what you can do with them. Single sign on with Salesforce.com and WCF
I recently worked on a project where I had to develop a web service to perform single sign on (SSO) with the Salesforce.com platform. The motivation behind this was that the customer wished to ensure that their security mechanism was enforced. In a fairly typical scenario the user would sign on to the customer system and click a link that took them to Salesforce.com which would recognise the username as an SSO user and redirect to a customer web service for authentication.
