I've noticed an increasing number of comments from folks who come across my blog after searching for something...mostly goofy little things like the errors I've come across, or other technical issues I've run into and people who ran into the same thing that were able to solve their problem after reading my blog. Would your source code stand up under scrutiny in a court of law?
Saw an interesting article on the news - a guy who was charged with drunk driving after being given a breathalyzer test is fighting the case by demanding access to the source code for the machine that calculates the level of alcohol detected...and apparently this isn't the first such case. It's happened before in other states. The company who makes the product in this case is saying the source code is a protected trade secret and shouldn't be disclosed but the attorney for the guy says they'll sign ......

Taking back control of my mobile phone - a home brewed automatic call blocker.
One thing I've found increasingly annoying is telemarketing calls to my mobile phone. When I glance down and see that 800 number calling I usually press the "Ignore" softkey and go about my business. I figure if it's really something important they'll know alternate ways to contact me...but I got to thinking that I didn't want to have to spend the time to look at the number and press ignore...and since it's my phone and it's got Windows Mobile 6 on it, I can do something about it.
