Android

So those who know me know that I'm a mobile geek....love just about anything to do with mobile device computing/programming, etc. Up to now that's always been .NET Compact Framework but recently I started to look at Google's offering in the arena, Android (http://code.google.com/android/ )

So I've downloaded all the stuff for Android but now I've got to set up my development machine. Don't want to put it on my primary machine because last time I did that it kinda sucked having all the Java IDE/SDK stuff on the same box as my Visual Studio...of course at the time that machine also kinda sucked but either way the experience ruined it for me...so this weekend I hope to dust off a machine and put it to use for Android development and see what it's all about. Probably about time to dust off my Java-Foo too since I haven't had to use that in a while.

Is anyone else out there working with Android?

Yeah Justin - I hear ya...never really found any of the Java IDEs that I liked...though I don't really mind Java too much in itself. Haven't really dug into Python yet.
