Car from `Knight Rider' is up for sale

I saw that the "Knight Rider" car is up for sale and at first thought "How cool would that be?" - after all I watched it a bunch during the few years of my childhood that I actually lived in the states...but then I got to reading further...it's no big deal that it doesn't "really" go 300MPH or fly, or shoot missles, or any of that cool stuff, but this car isn't even street legal because of missing smog equipment...so it would be an expensive dust collector. Hey - it does still have the red scanner light on the hood...now that's pretty cool! ;)

In my opinion, the best feature is the absense of David Hasselhof with the car.

I do think that it would be very cool to have, though. I can picture it in everyday situations. For example, you are going to the supermarket and can't find a parking spot and then suddenly a video map of the parking lot comes up on the screen showing you somebody pulling out, with the voice saying "Lou, I detect a customer pulling out of a spot fifty feet away" or if you are hungry, you can just send the car to go through the drive through of Burger King, order for you and bring the food back.

On a related bit of irony, David Hasselhof is now on a show judging other people's talent. I am not sure if the show is on the air still, but it is a variation of American Idol.
