Lou Vega a thump to the brain

Well my happy install of B3R lasted about a week and a half before I was told “Hey RC0 came out on MSDN last night!” So of course my manager decided I should upgrade. So I fire off an e-mail to Marc and Ken, and Marc points me to Rob Caron’s blog which has nice write up and links for the upgrade process.

How did the upgrade process go? It went really well and really fast. About 5 hours to do the upgrade (I kept getting pulled away for little things here and there) and it went completely according to the documentation that comes with the Upgrade Utility.

Since the upgrade was just completed yesterday, I’ll have to keep tabs on any issues that might come up, but I don’t think there will be any. In either case, if you haven’t installed already, do it before February 17th and submit your logs with the survey and you could win a limited edition Team Foundation Server t-shirt.
