Recently I have moved one of my projects from Visual Studio 2005 to 2008. This is a C++, WTL based dialog aplication, compiled for Pocket PC 2003 platform. Problem was when I run it in DEBUG mode in VS2008 Pocekt PC 2003 (Second edition) emulator, task bar and menu bar were switched, it looked like on old Windows CE (pre ver. 3). Under Release all was OK, it appeared that after adding

/subsystem:windowsce,4.20

in Linker properties -> Command line -> Additional options, all started to work properly.

This problem does not occur under Visual Studio 2005, even thought I dont have /subsystem line in liker options. Posted on Saturday, November 15, 2008 8:37 AM Mobile | Back to top

Such nice post. Helped me a lot !

Another thing: I´m using VS.net 2005 to develop apps to smart device with pocket pc 2003 and i can just use version 1.1 of the framework.

Is there a way to update it ? I also tried to install framework 2.0 on my device and it says that is not compatible!

tks
