As the managing director of a small software company (
Eclipse Web Solutions) I have recently (yesterday) decided that at the end of each quarter I will donate 10% of the business's profit to a selection of charities.
I hope that doing this will help people directly, through the donations, and indirectly by encouraging others to make similar commitments. I am interested to know what people think of this idea; so please leave a comment.
