MVVM Light V4 preview 2 (BL0015) #mvvmlight

Over the past few weeks, I have worked hard on a few new features for MVVM Light V4. Here is a second early preview (consider this pre-alpha if you wish). The features are unit-tested, but I am now looking for feedback and there might be bugs!

Thanks for this new preview. In a next preview, it would be nice if we could have a new property on the EventToCommand class to evaluate the command even if the attached element is disabled (cf end of the thread http://mvvmlight.codeplex.com/discussions/232354).

Cordially,
Kakone.

Woo hoo! I love MVVM Lite! I use it for SL4 and WP7, so news of the next version is always exciting. Can't wait for another great presentation at MIX11

Need to check that XML documentation :-)

# Suggestion: call the new class ObservableObject instead of NotifyPropertyChanged

"ObservableObject" was part of Josh Smith's framework, and I think it's a better name for the base class than NotifyPropertyChanged. What do you think?

Hi Laurent.
MVVM Light rocks!
I'm just a bit confused about the ViewModelLocator class.
It works great with a IoC container, but suppose I've a ViewModel like this:

public class CustomerViewModel
{
public CustomerViewModel(ICustomerService service, Customer customer) { ... }
}

I'm able to inject ICustomerService dependency quite easily, but the "Customer" parameter results hard to handle.

Am I missing something?

Is there an example about Applying EventToCommand to non-FrameworkElements?

Thanks! I am currently working with members of the VB community to get a port to VB.

Cheers,
Laurent
