More US centric discrimination: Amazon.com MP3 download

This kind of things pisses me up so much. What's your problem Amazon? My money is not good enough for you? I call it discrimination.

Oh yeah, also something else. Could you tell me that *before* you make me install your downloader? Kthxbai.

Come on Laurent, seriously... You don't really think it has anything to do with your currency, do you?

It's all about licensing rights.

Now, the downloader thing is pretty bogus. They definitely should have warned you first on that one.

@Chris Yeah I am not *that* stupid :) Note however that eventually, licensing rights amount to money, and telling me they don't want to sell me licensing rights just because my IP is not located in the US is discrimination, period.

The funny thing with all that is that IP based discrimination is so plain idiotic. I can fake my IP, I can use VPN, I have just so many alternatives, but honestly, if a firm is bad enough to a) listen to lawyers b) use this kind of technlogical anti-solution, they just don't deserve my money.

Greetings,
Laurent
