Question about SRS

So, I have a question for all you SQL Reporting geeks out there.

Is it better to do filters server-side (ie. In a Stored Procedure), or report side.

Any thoughts / suggestions...

I would say, server-side. No need to carry data over if you are not going to use it.

I will second that. The less data you send down the wire, the better.

my srs light wont turn off. what can i do to get it off? is it safe to drive with it like that? thanks for your responce.
